Seraphim

The six-winged Seraphim are depicted as the highest order of angels, those who stand closest to God's throne singing 'Holy, Holy, Holy.' This icon shows these magnificent beings with wings covering their faces and feet in humble worship, while their third pair of wings enables them to fly in service to the Almighty. They represent the pure worship and service that all creation owes to God.
